Ciara Christensen, Ph.D.

Faculty Bio

Ciara Christensen, Ph.D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Idaho and Wisconsin. Previously, she was a hospital psychologist at St. Luke's, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She is the President of the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH). She is the past President of the Society of Psychological Hypnosis (D30) of the American Psychological Association (APA). She has published journal articles and presented research papers and clinical hypnosis workshops worldwide. Dr. Christensen has received awards for her research including the Ernest R. Hilgard Best Graduate Thesis Award from APA and Early Career Achievement awards from the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis.
