Specifically tailored to clinicians, therapists, and researchers, this webinar delves into treatment criteria and highly effective Ericksonian hypnotic intervention strategies for individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, including maltreatment and neglect. The enlightening research of Caspi and collaborators on the topic of repeated micro-trauma in childhood and the implications that Caspi's research may have, clinically speaking, in working with hypnosis will be explored. From the perspective of techniques, rapport building, the use of mirroring and reorientation techniques with both "internalizing" and "externalizing" subjects will be analyzed in detail.
